Jay Piza - Voiceover Artist
I've used my voice since studying public speaking, drama and debating as a child. My love of using my voice as a trainer and reading books aloud with my kiddo, plus my love of improv drama, led me back to the studio to study with renowned voiceover coach Juliet Jordan.
Voice work might seem a bit left-field considering the rest of my work, but it's a perfect fit! Creative pursuits are important to mental health and wellbeing, and bringing a script to life and giving excellent audio to directors is such a joy.
I specialise in bringing warmth and personality to corporate and e-learning content — the kind of recordings that need sincerity and energy to truly connect with an audience. Whether you're explaining complex systems, welcoming new employees, or delivering sensitive mental health messages, I bring clarity, engagement, and a human touch.
I also adore character work and audiobook narration. Whether it's a dramatic read, a natural dialogue, comedy or I'm a high elf wizard charging into battle, I can work with your notes and bring your creation to life.
I’m comfortable taking live direction online or working independently to deliver clean, high-quality takes — including retakes or multiple versions as agreed for each project.

I occasionally offer pro bono work, particularly for nonprofit mental health initiatives or local Canberra content creators.
